Lafayette Institute Founding Members

Founding Members

Officials from the Lorraine region of France and the Georgia Institute of Technology signed a letter of intent November 30, 2010 to establish the Lafayette Institute, a $30 million facility that will facilitate the commercialization of innovations in optoelectronics. The founding members and financial sponsors of the Lafayette Institute are the Metz Metropole Urban Community, the Lorraine Regional Council, the Department of the Moselle, Georgia Tech-Lorraine, and Georgia Tech Global.

In addition the Lafayette Institute has three “Active” members:  École Supérieure d'Électricité (Supélec), L’Institut Supérieur Européen de l’Entreprise et de ses Techniques (ISEETECH) and Materalia.
